Development Coaching Course - 28 August

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge of coaches who are coaching at Club, Association and Regional level. It is an accredited course under the Netball Australia Coaching Accreditation Scheme and provides training to the large numbers of coaches who are actively involved in netball. Completion of this course will also result in Development Coaching Accreditation with the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS) as administered by the Australian Sports Commission (ASC).

HOW TO REGISTER:
- Contact the Course Coordinator at the Host Association and provide proof of attainment of course pre-requisites
- Receive a passcode from the Course Coordinator to enter at the online store, allowing you to register for the course

COURSE PREREQUISITES
- Completion of a Netball Australia Foundation Coaching Course
- Current Section 1 Umpire Theory Examination pass (70% or above)
- All Development Coaching Course participants must be registered members of their local State/Territory Netball Association prior to accreditation being granted to ensure adequate insurance cover. To register please contact your nearest District Association
- Participants must be at least 15 years of age on completion of the Intermediate Course to be eligible for accreditation
- All participants must have a personal fitness level that will enable them to perform their normal coaching duties and where required to demonstrate skills at a slow pace Demonstrations are not compulsory and they are performed at the individual participant’s discretion.

NetEd - Lismore 23 and 24 July 2016

Lismore Netball Association is hosting our Regional NetEd program on 23 and 24 July 2016.
We welcome all members of our regional netball community to attend this two day event either for one day or both.

The two day program focusses on Umpiring and Coaching both practical and theory education.

Registrations are now open on the Netball NSW website.

• All workshop participants must be registered members of their local State/Territory Netball Association to register.

• If a Member of Lismore, Ballina, Brunswick Byron, Kyogle or Lower Clarence Netball Association, participants are eligible for free access to this NetEd.

Please contact secretary.lismorenetball@bigpond.com to receive a grant code before registering via the Netball NSW online store.

• If not a Member of one of the above Associations, participants must register and pay via the Netball NSW online store.
Registrations will close on the Monday prior to the course date.

Coached ensure you bring your Accreditation updating book as attendance provides points towards maintaining accreditation.
